Baugher's Orchard Local Honey

Baugher’s Orchard uses honey bees for blossom pollinization during the months of April through August.

The honey bee transfers the blossom pollen in the orchard for strawberries, cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums, cantaloupe, tomatoes, watermelon, apples, & pumpkins.

Without this happening, fruit would not develop on the tree or plant.  The honey bees are an extremely important step in the growing process!

The secondary benefit we receive is the delicious extracted natural honey from this process.  Locally produced honey may help with seasonal allergies.

About Our Honey

Our local honey is extracted & bottled by a beekeeper who collects honey from hives at our orchard & other orchards within a 50 mile radius.   This is raw, unpasteurized honey.  Raw honey is rich in antioxidants, B vitamins, and has beneficial enzymes that are not in pasteurized honey.

This honey is sold under the “Baugher’s Honey” label in both of our markets & restaurant in various size jars.  Enjoy nature’s goodness!
